Terms of Service
Last updated: 28/09/2026
The rules for using Gokart: what the Service does to your Roblox place, how credits and subscriptions work, who owns what you make, and what we do and do not promise.
1. About These Terms
Gokart is operated by Stapski Media Kft., a company registered in Hungary under company registration number 01-09-453774, with its registered seat at 1134 Budapest, Váci út 45. G. ép. VII. em., Hungary ("Gokart," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, our Roblox Studio plugin, and our services (together, the "Service").
By accessing or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of them, you may not use the Service. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and where it goes.
2. What Gokart Is
Gokart turns a written description into a Roblox game. You describe what you want on our website; an AI model produces a build plan and Luau source code; our Roblox Studio plugin, running on your computer, applies that plan to the place you have open — creating, editing, and deleting objects and scripts in it — then runs an automated playtest and reports the errors and screenshots back so the AI can correct itself. Gokart also generates 2D images and 3D models you can download and import yourself.
Gokart writes into your place, and can change or delete things in it. It is AI-driven and it makes mistakes: it can produce code that does not work, break something that previously worked, or remove or overwrite objects and scripts that were already there. Keep your own backups of any place you care about before building on it. We are not responsible for changes the Service makes to your place, including loss of work.
Gokart is under active development. Features described on our website may be incomplete, may behave differently in practice, and may be changed or withdrawn.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Roblox's own sign-in system may permit account holders as young as 13 to authorize third-party applications; meeting Roblox's requirements does not by itself satisfy Gokart's eligibility requirement, and you remain responsible for independently confirming you meet the age requirement stated here.
Accounts: You need an account to generate anything. Sign-up is handled by Clerk and defaults to signing in with Google; some older accounts sign in with Roblox instead. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it current, and not to create an account on behalf of anyone else or impersonate anyone.
Account security: You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for everything that happens under it, including credits spent. Notify us immediately at team@gokart.gg if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits, trials, or project slots is a breach of these Terms.
4. Your Roblox Account & Places
To build into Roblox Studio you connect your Roblox account and install the Gokart plugin. By doing so:
- You confirm you are the owner of, or are otherwise authorized to modify, the place you point the plugin at.
- You authorize the plugin to read the contents of that place — including the source code of the scripts in it — and to send that to us and to our AI providers so that a build can be produced. This is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
- You authorize the plugin to create, modify, and delete objects and scripts in that place, and to run automated Play Mode tests in it and capture screenshots of them.
You remain solely responsible for complying with the Roblox Terms of Use, Community Standards, and Creator Store policies in everything you publish, including anything Gokart generated for you. Gokart is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, and Roblox may change its platform, its plugin rules, or its APIs at any time in ways that limit or break the Service.
5. Credits, Plans, and Billing
How credits work. Generating costs credits. Credits are usage-based rather than a flat price per prompt: the number deducted is calculated from what a request actually consumed, and is known only once the AI model has answered. A larger or more complex request therefore costs more than a simple one, and the same prompt can cost a different amount on two different runs. Running a playtest costs a small additional fixed amount. Because of this, the cost of a request cannot be known exactly in advance, and any figure shown beforehand is an estimate. If you build through an AI assistant you connect to Gokart yourself (such as Claude or ChatGPT), that assistant's own usage is billed by its provider under your account with them, not by us; each build it sends to Roblox Studio through Gokart costs a small fixed amount of credits, plus the playtest amount when a playtest runs, and it cannot build with a zero balance.
Getting credits. Credits come from a paid plan, from its free trial where one is offered, from a one-time credit pack, or from the referral reward described below. Accounts start with no credits, and you cannot generate with a zero balance.
Referrals. You may be given a personal invite link. If two people who create a Gokart account through your link go on to pay for a subscription, you can claim a one-time reward of 50 credits, which behaves like credit-pack credits and expires 90 days after it is granted. The reward is earned only when those accounts actually pay — a free trial that has not converted does not count — and it can be claimed once. If an invited person’s payment is refunded or charged back, that invite stops counting and the reward may be reclaimed. Inviting yourself, using additional accounts you control, or otherwise arranging sign-ups that are not genuine new customers is a breach of section 3 and may cost you the reward and the accounts involved. We may change or end the referral reward at any time; rewards already granted are not affected.
Free trials are for previewing, and convert automatically. Starting a free trial requires a valid payment method and grants a small number of credits; each plan made during a trial costs a flat 1 credit rather than being usage-based. A trial lets you plan a project — the AI sets out what it would build for you — but actually generating a game, assets or code is available only on a paid plan. Unless you cancel before the trial period shown at checkout ends, the trial converts into a paid subscription at that plan's advertised price and your payment method is charged, without further notice. You can cancel at any time during the trial. If you cancel, your projects are kept for 30 days — see section 6.
Subscription credits refresh every month and do not roll over. On a paid plan, your credit balance is reset to that plan's full monthly allowance once a month. This is true on annual plans too: an annual plan is paid for once a year, but its credits still refresh monthly rather than arriving as one yearly lump. Whatever is left over at a refresh is lost — subscription credits do not accumulate, carry over into the next month, or convert into anything else, and they are not refundable or transferable.
Top-up credits are the only ones that last 90 days. Credits bought as a one-time pack, separately from a subscription, are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and expire after that. They are held separately from your subscription allowance: a monthly refresh resets that allowance and leaves an unexpired top-up balance untouched. The 90-day life applies only to these packs — it is not a lifetime for subscription credits, which last one month.
Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring cycle — monthly or annually, as you select — and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Whop; their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change; we will give notice of a price change before it takes effect for your subscription, and you may cancel rather than accept it. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude any applicable VAT or sales tax, which is added at checkout.
Project limits. Each plan allows a maximum number of active projects, shown on our pricing page. Reaching the limit means deleting a project or upgrading before creating another.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend generation on your account until it is resolved.
6. Refunds, Cancellation & Chargebacks
Cancelling. You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, and you are not charged again.
What happens to your projects. If a subscription ends — whether it was a paid plan or a free trial — your projects are kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted, unless you resubscribe within that window. Export or back up anything you want to keep before cancelling.
EU right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because the Service is made available to you immediately, by purchasing you request that we begin performance at once and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once we have fully performed — which, for credits, means once you have started using them. If you have not used any credits from a purchase, you may withdraw within 14 days and we will refund it in full.
Otherwise. Except as set out above or as required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods and for credits that have been spent, expired, or reset. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts.
Chargebacks and payment disputes. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us first at team@gokart.gg and we will investigate it with you. We would much rather fix a billing mistake directly than have it decided by a bank weeks later.
While a chargeback or payment dispute is open on your account, we may suspend generation and other paid features so that we can investigate, and we will restore access once the dispute is resolved and the account is in good standing. If a dispute is decided against you, or if you raise repeated disputes, we may suspend or terminate your account under section 12. You remain responsible for any amount still outstanding and for any fee our payment processor charges us in connection with the dispute, and we may recover those amounts from you.
Raising a dispute in order to obtain credits, generations, or a refund you are not entitled to — for example, disputing a charge after spending the credits it paid for — is a breach of these Terms, and we may pursue recovery of the amounts and reasonable costs involved. None of this affects your statutory rights, or your right to use your card issuer's or payment provider's own dispute procedures.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that breaches these Terms. You must not:
- Violate any local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property rights, including by prompting the Service to reproduce copyrighted characters, assets, or code you do not have the rights to use.
- Generate sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises children, content that harasses or threatens a person, hate speech, or content that promotes self-harm or violence. The Service is used to build games on a platform used by children, and we enforce this strictly.
- Generate content that breaches the Roblox Terms of Use, Community Standards, or Creator Store policies.
- Point the plugin at a place you do not own or are not authorized to modify.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code, or prompt the Service to generate code intended to exploit, cheat in, or attack Roblox or any other system.
- Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of the Service, or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
- Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, credit metering, plan limits, trial restrictions, or any other usage limit.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own, or use it to operate a competing generation service.
- Use outputs from the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate a competing AI model.
- Scrape, data-mine, or harvest the Service, or access it through automated means other than the plugin we provide, without our prior written consent.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the plugin, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.
We may remove content, suspend generation, or terminate an account that breaches this section, and we may report illegal content to the relevant authorities and to Roblox.
8. Your Content & AI Output
Your content. "Your Content" means everything you put into the Service: prompts, uploaded or pasted images, drawings, project names, feedback, and the contents of the place the plugin reads. You keep ownership of it. You represent that you have the rights to provide it and that doing so does not breach anyone else's rights.
Output. "Output" means what the Service generates for you: build plans, Luau source code, images, 3D models, rigs, and thumbnails. As between you and us, and to the extent we hold any rights in Output at all, we assign them to you. You are free to use, modify, publish, and commercialise Output, including in monetised Roblox experiences, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the underlying AI providers.
Output is not guaranteed to be unique. AI models are generative and other users may submit similar prompts and receive similar or identical Output. We make no claim that Output is original, novel, or free from third-party rights, and we do not grant you exclusivity over it.
You are responsible for what you ship. Output can contain errors, security flaws, broken logic, or material that resembles existing work. Before publishing anything generated here, you are responsible for reviewing and testing it, and for confirming that it complies with the law and with Roblox's rules. We do not review Output for correctness, safety, or legality, and the automated playtest is a best-effort check, not a guarantee that anything works.
9. Licence You Grant Us
To operate the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, transmit, and display Your Content and Output as necessary to operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Service — including sending it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy, storing it so your projects reload, and reviewing it where you have rated a generation or asked us for support.
To promote the Service. You also grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publicly display, and publicly perform Your Content and Output — including games, 3D models, images, screenshots, recordings, and the prompts behind them — for the purpose of demonstrating, marketing, advertising, and promoting Gokart, in any medium now known or later developed. This includes our website and landing page, social media, advertising, press material, showreels, and live or recorded product demonstrations.
We are not obliged to credit you, and we will not attach your name, Roblox identity, or email address to a creation unless you ask us to. If you would prefer that a particular creation of yours was not used this way, email team@gokart.gg and we will stop using it going forward; we cannot recall material already printed, broadcast, or distributed.
These licences survive termination of your account to the extent needed for material already published, and for our legal and accounting records. They do not transfer ownership of anything to us.
10. Third-Party Content & Services
The Service depends on third parties, including Roblox, our AI providers, our payment processor, and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Their availability, pricing, policies, and APIs are outside our control, and a change on their side may degrade, interrupt, or end part of the Service.
Creator Store models. When a build asks for a model that already exists on Roblox, the Service inserts a model published by another Roblox creator into your place. That model is that creator's work and is governed by their licence and by Roblox's own rules, not by these Terms. We do not own it, do not warrant that it is suitable for your use, and you are responsible for checking its licensing before publishing or monetising anything that contains it.
11. Our Intellectual Property
The Service itself — the website, the plugin, our source code, the prompts and systems that drive generation, our graphics, branding, and logos — is and remains the exclusive property of Gokart and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and the plugin for their intended purpose while your account is in good standing.
12. Termination & Account Deletion
By you. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may have your account deleted by emailing team@gokart.gg from the address you signed in with. Deleting your account permanently removes your projects, chat history, generated images and 3D models, and playtest screenshots. It cannot be undone, and any remaining credits are lost without refund. Anything the plugin already built into your Roblox place stays there — it is in your own place file, and only you can remove it.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal risk or harms the Service or other users, or if we are required to by law or by a provider we depend on. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. We may also discontinue the Service as a whole, in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period.
After termination. Your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Project retention after a subscription ends is described in section 6. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 8, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 — remain in effect.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT GENERATION WILL PRODUCE A WORKING, ACCURATE, ORIGINAL, OR FIT-FOR-PURPOSE RESULT, THAT A PLAYTEST WILL DETECT A GIVEN PROBLEM, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL NOT MODIFY OR DELETE EXISTING CONTENT IN YOUR ROBLOX PLACE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including the statutory rights of consumers in the EU.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOKART AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, ROBUX, DATA, GOODWILL, OR DEVELOPMENT TIME, OR ANY LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF A ROBLOX PLACE OR ITS CONTENTS, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY AND HOWEVER CAUSED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These limits do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or to any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gokart and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, Your Content, or your publication or commercialisation of Output — including a claim that something you published infringes a third party's rights or breaches Roblox's rules. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own breach or negligence, and it does not limit any right you have as a consumer.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Budapest, Hungary, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service develops. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date, and where the change materially reduces your rights we will give reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
